Message No. 315Message:
My father stated his crew flew LITTLE EVA from Hawaii to Australia and had the first 3 to 4 missions on her before another crew borrowed her and she later crashed. The other plane THE EAGER BEAVER was being inspected at the time and was given to my dads crew instead. My father is Joseph Broschart, waist gunner, flight engineer and aerial photographer. His pilot was Whitlock if you want to look up the crew. He said he doesnt have a picture of LITTLE EVA. They flew missions out of Iron Range. He was planning on going to the Washington DC WWII dedication but my mother had recent surgery and he doesnt want to leave her.
