Thanks for the reply. Stumbling around the web after I posted, I came across the same website, I haven't gotten any further than that. I figure this to be a long process, more for posterity than any immediate need. I'm not sure that Ed was the most outgoing person (stodgy Swede). I see that he was actually living in Arlington MA at the time, so I at least have some more accurate baseline info to start with.
Funny thing, my other grandfather passed 1/08, knew he was a Navy reservist in the war. Records he had that were passed on to us after his death, he was involved in all sorts of radio and guided missile development, but was too modest to ever say anything even after it was declassified. I'm still hoping to find the hidden cache of info on Ed...
