This plane has no nose art on it at all.

I would that you are correct with the Serial being 41-23875, but it is a mystery as to the history of this plane.

It would appear that this plane could have been one of the first B24's to fly to the staging base of Iron Range, before the 90th went to PNG. Just wish someone out there had more info / history on this plane.

    i've looked through several sources and can't find your serial number as you have it.by your number the aircraft full # should be 41-23875, B-24D made in 1941.....is there any nose art visible on... more

        Mick, I have photographs of all of the B24's, B25's that were left behind in Port Moresby when the 90th left to head north. They were all damaged or had stressed airframes I don't have many aircraft... more
