I am trying to track down my Dad Arthur D Hoffman, I think he was part of the 400th but not sure. I do know he ditched along with Saul Cohen's crew the end of May 1945 and two crew members were lost. I don't know what crew he was assigned to if any, can anyone help me in understanding how photo-recon worked as far as assignments? My father was there from early 44 to fall of 45.

      From a list by Loyd Adams, Arthur D Hoffman was assigned to the Photo Section which was part of Headquarters. His serial number was 35578964. He would have been assigned to a crew as the mission... more
