You didn't mention your name so I can't locate your email address; mine is wferguson11@cox.net. I'd like to send you a labeled crew photo to see if I have gotten the correct names to the crew members. I've been told it was an "all out" mission but was diverted because of the weather over China. The cause of the crash remains unknown other than there didn't seem to be enough power or perhaps too much weight for the plane. It was a fairly new one with no "nose art" on it I was told. The plane remained on the runway on take off to the very end of it, bounced over the road past the runway, finally got airborn but crashed about a mile or so offshore. Pre-dawn on July 15, 1945. There were but two survivors who have since passed on.
