I am trying to obtain information for artist John Shaw of St. Augustine, FL, who is painting a B-24 bomber along with a P-38 Lightning on the August 18-20, 1943 raids on Wewak. Are there any surviving B-24 pilots and/or crewmembers who flew on any of these missions that could provide John with a unique insight? If yes, please email me your name and contact info so I can give it to John.

My dad, Lt. McElroy Smith flew 61 missions with Glen Craig in the 400th Squadron in 1944.
