I am at wcgray_va@yahoo.com I will photograph some key pages and send them by snail mail to help you decide. I do not want to open the book up wide to photo copy because that could damage it. By the way, I will be glad to send copies of a 31 page pamphlet (" Jolly Rogers Who's Who") with the names and addresses of all the men assigned to the Jolly Rogers at the time of discharge. It lists the men by Unit and then by State. The Unit insignias are 1. skull and crossbones, 2. the Asterperious character, 3. a flying shark with wings and tail fins dropping bombs and 4. a man in flying leathers dropping a bomb from a cloud. I think these represent subordinate units within the Jolly Rogers. A crewman from an unknown unit could be listed in one of four different lists for his State. Give me a mailing address and I will send this material at no charge. Your father will get a kick out of finding familiar names.
