i have when he enlisted,i've seen his gunner's card,the following are things i would like to find out more on:when he arrived in the jolly rogers,how many missions he flew,was or did he only serve as a waist gunner(all i know is he was a gunner...don't know if he gunned in any other positions),did he only fly missions as a member of howard golden's crew(if not which other planes and crews did he fly with)on the morning of the last raid did golden's crew have to switch planes (from a family member i was told that there was a problem with the plane and they had to switch to YDD....i am not certain that this is true)
