Various authors list the following on the flight.
Lt. John Rafferty was the pilot and it was on night recon and called Port Moresby tower on return. Reportedly crashed into Watut Mountain, PNG. The site was located in 1984 with the help of local natives and military search teams went to the remote site in 84, 86, and 87. The remains were buried in Arlington National Cemetery in 1990, 47 years after the crash.
