Hello,
I'm an antique dealer specializing in aviation memorabilia. I've been doing it full-time for 19 years. Every once in awhile I find something that I feel should be in a museum or in the hands of someone who really cares about a particular subject. In this case a friend of mine recently went to an auction and bought two of the nicest Unit Histories I've ever had. The "Jolly Rogers" printed by
John Sands in Sydney,AU is very colorful and in great condition. Even more interesting is "Boms Away". also printed by Sands. It's the same format as Jolly Rogers but mwas probably done slightly later. The reason I say this is that in the collection of aerial photos showing some of their stikes are showm Peleliu photos. That is mention as a late FLASH in Jolly Rogers as having just occurred. Bombs Away has many crew illustrations including some not shown in Jolly Rogers. It's not as colorful but probably quite a lot rarer as I can find no references to it anywhere and it's not included in Dornbusch or Controvich's references to US Military unit histories. I would consider trades as well as outright sale. For an idea of the types of things I buy/sell/trade/collect refer to my seldom up-dated website at www.stuffinder.com
Regards;
Tom Heitzman
