Heres the gist of page 182 At 1404 May 6( should be June 6 in page sequence)plane #44-41482 flown by Capt Hans H. Williams, took off from McGuire in heavy showers, carrying men to Manila on leave. When he failed to arrive at Clark field by 2000 it was evident he was either down or had landed at another field. For five days Catalinas searched but no sign of plane. Crew members lost were Lt Mccary,Copilot, Sgt Baldwin Engr, Sgt Dolan Radio. The other flying passengers were( a long list including )Cpl Thomas F. Ward.
