Message:
My father, Lt. Col. Merrill E. Taylor (Ret.), died on Friday, November 8, 2002, at the age of 82. He was proud of his career in the USAF and his service the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was especially proud of the 42 missions he flew as a navigator with the Jolly Rogers. His crew played a key role in the Battle of the Bismark Sea. He is survived by his widow and wife of nearly 59 years, Bettey O. Taylor, 2627 A Oak Road, Walnut Creek, CA 94596 (925) 938-6029. Merrill is gone but not forgotten. Thank you to all who served with him in the Pacific and who knew him as a friend and colleague. Sincerely, Dennis M. Taylor 1904 Northridge Circle Billings, MT 59102 (406) 655-9591
