Message:
I just came upon this post by searching for Cy. My father-in-law flew with your father as bombardier. In fact he was with the crew when they received the silver star. He passed away in 2001 and we discovered his hidden stash of information which includes every document he received beginning with his entry into the air cadets in 41. He asked me prior to passing to see if I could find any info on two pilots...Ewing & Brainard. Unfortunately at that time internet info was limited. I never found anything until a few years after his passing. If there is any info you would like I would be happy to share it.
