Golden was piloting Yankee Doodle Dandy on April 12,1944. My great uncle, Joseph C. Minnich was a waist gunner on Mr.Goldens crew. You can read about their last mission in the Legacy book and I also have a few more books that talk about that mission over Hollandia. I have been researching this for over 3 years now and would love to hear from Mr. Goldens or any other of that crews families.
